I was thinking more along the lines of 'successful and known' as boxers, otherwise you might as well add Lenny McClean, Jimmy Batten and a whole load who used to turn up as extras. The film crews used to regularly hit the Thomas A Becket and/or the Royal Oak.

Was he ever a pro-boxer though? There have been a few actors who have boxed as amateurs, such as Ray Winstone, or actor's who had short pro careers before acting (Mickey Rourke), but I can't think of any who were primarily known as boxers before switching to acting.

hes not that successful in my book the boxing world now is a joke and there are lots of "world champion" belts he got his from an unskilled fighter he is no Mike Tyson and he awaits kissing the canvas in Vegas the same as many other mediocre british boxers with plastic titles.
