I liked Sheryl but i don't think she's a celeb and i agree with the point of why has she kept Paul's name  and i also don't agree with the programme she made with her children about Paul , i suffered for years with an abusive partner and the last thing i would do would shove my child in front of a camera for the world too see how bad there dad is ,  IMO

I have had friends in this situation and its not as simple as you make out.  That name is also your childrens name and changing it can affect them more.  They have kept the name for their kids, if you have one name and children another surname it can be extremely problematic nowadays.  You can change their name but they may then resent it depending on how they view their father (and as I have witnessed can change it back when they are older which can be even more hurtful).  Besides she clearly still loves him and tried to help him and knows its his addiction  that has caused all the problems.

I think she's a reluctant celeb TBH. She was in the news whether she craved it or not  o0ften for reasons I'm sure she wouldn't have wished for................as for keeping her husbands name - I think lots of women do after divorce especially if they have children. I don't honestly believe she kept the name to seek attention.

Its Bianca, her daughter I dislike ,she plays on the Gascoine name ,yet she often  ridicules her step father.

Particularly as that name alone implies things you really wouldn't want to draw attention to. Also, he's mega rich, ergo, so is she therefore she won't need to worry about her or her children's wellbeing which all leads to... she has nothing to gain from being in the public eye on a show like this but she seems very good natured and agreeable and that I think is the only reason she was there at all.

Yes I agree ...............when I heard of her before all I imagined was this poor, pathetic battered wife etc. I now see that she is a strong and very likeable woman. If I never hear of her again it won't be the end of the world but she was a very valid contribution to the programme IMO. Shame she went first but ......................she was never gonna win and if she got a good pay out and nice holiday out of it good for her. After the shit she's had in her life it can only be a good thing IMO.

The row started when Jenny Eclair suggested that Opik had stopped doing his usual camp chores because he wanted everyone to throw compliments at him about his hardwork.
