I said I have no time for feminism - that is my opinion. You are entitled to your opinion and yeah I consider myself lucky thanks. I fight for myself and I support myself. Sorry LL - I was refering to an earlier poster - not you!
No probs

LL, dont let the others bully you , you can believe in equal rights and not be a crusty old feminist.
You're being highly offensive here and trying to sugarcoat it as 'my opinion' so you don't get banned. I don't see where anyone on this thread implied feminism pertains to anything other than equal rights.

If you need to keep reading what people have posted before you comprehend this simple fact please do so but lay off trying to put people down and insult them for things they have never said.

.feminists tend not to want that, they want to be thought of as the same as men.
TBF I can half see where you are coming from... some men love,(wank off to,)women who show their bits ..some women object to women who do that.....I  do seriously struggle with that tbh....I just hope, in 2010 that they're taking the piss

Leaving out the "crusty" adjective, no you can't.  That's a singularly retarded thing to say and is regularly regurgitated by people who show they don't know what feminism is.

Anyone who is not a feminist should be ashamed of themselves.  They either don't know the meaning of the word - hint: try a dictionary - or they hate women.  It's that simple.

Thanks for that Cosi ............I like to see a bit more of their lives.
You're welcome, Soozy.
I have to admit I was surprisingly gen'd up on quite a few of the 'celebs this year (must be an age thing...) but it also means there's a tendency to have an 'opinion' on a few of them.  I suppose that comes from having seen their careers develop over the years.

So I should not be allowed my opinion?   I said men and women should be equal but different, whats wrong with that.?
YES, and YES, have no problem with "equal but different"....don't know how old/experienced you are ... but know where I am coming from.....I think gender stereoyypes are waaaay outdated and concepts of 'feminism' can be outdated to...fwiw I think that men have suffered in that mix to, (with a few BUT, BUTs!)

Have to say, got no time for feminism and I am female

Well then you are lucky. Some of us have to fight for ourselves and support ourselves and therefore I will continue to fight for equal rights for women. If that means I am perceived as a man hating lesbian then so be it.
What in the.... how can any female not believe in feminism?

Vids has cracked me up though

Thats exactly what it feminism is - belief that women should have equal rights to men. The actual meaning seems to get lost somewhat in the 'crusty lesbean, man hating' image it's somehow acquired though

Havers: 'I would have killed Opik'

Nigel Havers has joked that he would have killed Lembit Opik if he had stayed on I'm A Celebrity any longer.

The veteran actor, who walked out of the jungle on Monday, mocked Opik for having the "mental age of 7" and branded him "insane".

"Not for one second could I imagine how he could be a member of parliament for 13 years," said the 59-year-old. "He thinks he's going to be the mayor of London at the moment. Ha!"

Havers continued: "I nearly killed him one day. We only had two knives in the camp - one was big and one was small. He was whittling a piece of wood and I shouted at him, 'Don't do that'. He said to me, 'What do you mean?' I said to him, 'You’re blunting the f**king knives'.

"That's one of the reasons I thought I should go because I would've killed him."
