Had a feeling he was going to leave.
He didn't want to stay in case he won, he didn't want to take the crown, he wanted one of the others to win, that's why he left.

I'M A Celebrity's biggest name George Hamilton has quit the show just five days before the final.

After Jordan and Camilla Dallerup, the Hollywood star is the third person to leave I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here without being voted out by the public.

Camilla Dallerup was the first to walk, after suffering poor health, and Jordan quit after the public voted her to do a seventh consecutive trial.

In last night's show viewers saw George threatening to quit after the phone call to his girlfriend Barbara.

He told pal Kim Woodburn: "I'm at point where this is fun to do. I'm not going to go head to head, so I'm thinking about leaving, pulling out tomorrow."

Kim asked him to stay but the 70-year-old actor said: "At my age, the time I have with people I care about is important. I don't see a purpose for me to stay."

Producers of the show have also been worried for George's health and excluded him from virtually all of the bushtucker trials.

Meanwhile fellow jungle stars, including Kim, 67, have been doing his cooking and cleaning around the camp.

George will appear on tonight's I'm A Celebrity and reveal who he now wants to win.
