I can cope with spiders with a glass or mug and a bit of card ...........................I'm so much better than I used to be - wouldn't want to pick one up but I don't scream anymore when one runs across my carpet .............now if it was a rat or cockroach - I'd be demented.

Hubby is a pretty good spider catcher too.
Youngest son now has a GF who is also scared of spiders, so he is trying to be braver because he doesn't want her to know he's a wimp.
