I think it's a very boring colour scheme, and nothing like as nice as the grey we had yesterday.  I'm already finding it too bright and dazzling for my eyes.   But at least it's a bit better than the old peachy colour scheme.

I like the blue and the grey part in the middle, just the bright pink and green dots on the outside thats annoying.


I could just stick some paper covering the sides of the monitor

I've just seen mr Pie's post - I'm not getting any spots on my screen    I really liked my grey spots yesterday.

I dont like these colours but it is a bit easier on the eye I hate the spotty background I would prefer a plain background,wonder what tomorrow will bring

Growlybear I cant quote there are big pink blue grey green and peach dots in the background and each side of the page

It would be good if they could just have this blue/grey background but covering the side aswell.

The spotty background colours are a bit psychedelic and look like something out of the sixties.
I do prefer the blue colours to yesterday's dark grey/black.

I've got faded spots in the background that mingle into the posts.

I like petrol blue as a colour but not on here. It feels like a derelict building, dingy and damp.

On my screen, there are a similar number of spots as yesterday's, they are as Marguerita has said. Today's background is called "You Like Fun Dot" for some reason.

Clumsycat, IE and Safari users are having problems quoting. They are trying to sort it out.

You are not thick Clumsycat some of us cant quote I am on safari and cant quote the quoting system is a bit cack handed to say the least wish they would change back to the way it was

I did post elsewhere that for those unable to quote, as an alternative, before you open the reply box, highlight the text you want to quote, press Ctrl-C to copy, open the reply box, I suggested you then type something like "Quoted from " their name, then press Ctrl-V to paste the quoted text. This will just appear as part of the ordinary reply, but at least it gives you a method whilst they sort it out.

CC, quoting is a pain in the inner sphincter at the minute, so trust me, you ain't missing owt!

Dunno if you've seen how to quote on here but just in case;

Open reply box
Scroll to find the text you want to quote (you can move the reply box up as you go along as well)
Right click the text, highlight and select copy
Hit the quotation marks in the reply box (2 buttons to the left of the smiley face)

And your quote should appear.

Like Yogi said though, if you're on IE or safari you'll probably have problems. It seems to work best with Firefox and Google Chrome (if you're a mac user then using FF on the mac seems to work too).

Don't like the colour scheme - it's very much like web design 101 - maybe there's a wee trainee practising their art here. Which would fit with yesterday's edgy  concoction.

 My feedback would be that a bit more subtlety is required 

Now I'm on my laptop I can see the pretty spots - they didn't show up when I was on my netbook earlier!    I coul probably live with this colour scheme, reluctantly, so long a we keep the spots, but I still much prefer the greys.

It is far easier on my eyes than yesterday's grey scheme but too many pastels.

Should restrict it to 3 colours max?

Although I don't think I'm ever gonna be happy now.

I am still peed off from yesterday's assault on my eyesight so I am now in "hard to please" mode.

I may need chocolate and stuff to pacify me.

 And it seems to have got dazzlingly bright!

That's my suspicion too.

It's better now the spots in the background have faded.

I've just looked through the different options on Live Cloud, and this is probably one of the better ones.  The burnt orange theme  they've got today looks really nice, and there's a quite nice floral theme as well, but some of the alternatives are really wishy-washy and insipid, and SO bright

Growly - they aren't bright to me, is the brightness setting on your monitor maybe too high?
