I'm a little bit sad TBH. it's a long old story but my daughters ex's sister is getting married on Saturday. I'm so happy for them ......................the exes parents are our best friends but it would be sooooooooooooooo innapropriate for us to be there.

My daughter and her ex were together for eleven years .............it breaks my heart that they are no longer together.

Quite what this has to do with this thread I DON'T KNOW! I just wanted to share it!

I'd rather stay at home with a bottle of plonk and a bacon sandwich.

but.. but ..that costs a couple o` poonds.

I`m a tight a*sed Scot.

I`m heading for the wedding.

Read today that Harry is looking forward to Bacon Sandwiches at 6am......You could be well in there......

Well I suppose Harry isn't quite as repulsive as William but I'd rather share my bacon butty with John McCririck

I've heard her advice to Kate for a long lasting marriage is "wear a seatbelt and don't piss me off"

Good advice to.....in the words of Jim...."Clunk Click, every trip"......

Indeed

As for would I go? Yeah I probably would just to have a nose. I'd rather go to the afterparty though just to see what really goes on at a royal shindig.

And what's a she-wee?

If I was allowed to drink damn right I'd be in there Oooh I bet they have some fantastic alcohol come to think of it. No Chardonnay, Lambrini or Bucky at their soirÃĐes. The Rohypnol's probably flying about in abundance, though. They're not exactly the best looking bunch. *neigh*

They don't have partners? Eh? Wah you meeeen?

Living together without marriage. Get em into the 21st century. Just wonder how long this marriage will last going on the past Royal weddings? Chalk and cheese come to mind. Hope she can cope with the stuff she will have to cope with though, she seems like a really nice girl. And so was Diana.

 Hate that expression 'Partner'

It sounds like a business arrangement!

 Or in Crime

Hmmm Diana wasn't all sweetness and light as you may think. I'm not saying she wasn't treated like shit cos I do believe she had it rough, but she knew how to manipulate the media. Regardless of all the hype though I still remember when she died all I could think about were the young kids she was leaving behind (I was preggers with my son at the time), because despite all the infamy, she was still a mother.

I didn't know the royals weren't keen on people having partners, though? Kate and her fella have been together for about 8 years haven't they?

I don't see what's wrong with other half. It sounds a bit naff but is actually kind of romantic without being pretentious.
