Then she ought to quit the show, if it's true what Pierres just said on the news that she has threatened to quit just coz not everyone doesn't like her then she should go, I've not heard of any other acts slagging off the others and having the police called into to see them. My own opinion as I said before is she is overrated and mardy, and needs to stop acting wacky, grow up woman.

You don't like her much, do you?
She's been hounded by The Scum - that alone would cause anybody to react in such a way.
That paper really is the pits!

Trouble is Poolie, she's not a grown up woman. She is a little bit slower than the rest of us, or so I'm led to believe

His name is Piers.
I feel a bit sorry for her because they've built her up so much I think she believes her own hype. She's good but she's not the best on the show.

I don't dislike her, I just think she has been hyped up, OK that's not her fault but the show is not all about her, there are other contestants, who in my opinion are much better talented than her.

Well, judging by what I've seen tonight, her voice deserves to win.

I always get the impression you are not overkeen on women in general. I mean tonight you have started 2 threads slagging off women, has a women hurt you in the past?

What about her voice though?

That's the thing though. I think she expects people to like her because the press are making her out to be the best thing since sliced bread. She's not. I say she deserves her place in the final but IMO she is not a sure thing to win. I think it's gonna hit her like a brick if she doesn't win too.

Just this once pool lol (u being a jade hater) i agree with you.To me the sax player is a million times better than her
The hype and spin and publicity (good and bad) make it difficult to focus on her talent, which is the main purpose of the show.
So I try to ignore the hype (which is not easy), and not allow it to influence my opinion of the talent.
From the beginning I felt (and still do) that she is mediocre. The standard is not very high this year.

tbh though, if I had got into the final and I didn't win I would feel like I'd had a concrete block land on me

Yup. I'll second that.
The most talented person on the show got voted off tonight - the little jungle book boy

Blimey, you could compete with that ears bloke who had a bowling ball land on his stomach!

I'd like to take him and swing him by his lugholes right out the window. I can't believe the drummer Kieran got ousted in favour of that pleb

I certainly felt that little Callum deserved a place in the final and not 2Grand.
Also have to say that I was so pleased that the saxophonist got through. Julian was brilliant and so modest. Would love to hear him playing the old Acker Bilk number of 'Stranger on the Shore'.

Bit of a cliche though HB
My daughter played the clarinet in a school talent contest and I made her play this - I knew she would win
She did
I can't believe the pensioner break dancer got though to this stage, he was rubbish, sympathy vote if ya ask me, I agree with someone's earlier post, the standard this year is not as good as last year.

It's a sure fired winner IMO and well done to your daughter.
Such a haunting tune and it never fails to move me to tears.

It's deliberate controversy, innit? The show's not really about talent. There's no point having an 2009 version of New Faces, there's got to be something to laugh at every episode.
