Fletch - I don't read anything much in the papers other then what might pop up in my Metro but it struck me that if there was any suggestion he might be - given his "meedja" career to date - it'd have found some outlet somewhere by now given Mario's obvious interest.

Reminds me..Clash of the Titans is on Channel 5 this afternoon. The proper one with Harry Hamlin sporting a bouff Ben would be intimidated by and a plasticine Medusa and everything!!! 

If he was a celebrity "confirmed bachelor" I could see that. But he's not famous and doesn't have the wherewithal to keep something like that a secret IMO.
