...what are your hopes for any future series' of BB?  I've seen talk on other forums of 5ive maybe wanting BB once channel 4 finish up with it.  I'd love it to be stripped back to basics with the strict rules being enforced rather harshly like it was back in BB1.  The auditions wouldn't be a freak show with all contestants getting to know each other but done in different cities with any hopefulls being kept apart from hopefulls from other cities.  Then the usual scooped off somewhere on their own for a the few weeks before BB starts.

Then once BB has started rule breaks were taken VERY seriously with HM being ejected if the rule break was big enough. Any new housemates had been in hiding since the start of BB and had NOT watched any of it and were not allowed to talk about the outside happenings that they may know of.

Tasks would be gruelling and rewarding or punishing according to their success and I wouldn't even mind the heaven/hell theme brought back as it certainly caused tensions and was great to watch as they fought to get into heaven.

Most importantly....potential contestants who were blatently fame hungry  wannabes didn't make the cut!!

So....what do YOU want?

can't see how that would be workable.

your  bb sounds more like a detention centre with hard labour  rather than  entertainment.

lol.

i think c4 have come up with a few  good ideas this time. the glee task was fun and good to watch, so more fun challenges like that. the peforming on the steps is an innovation i like.

if some one wants to walk, they only get one reprieve, then they're out the door.

i quite liked the rich and poor concept too.

Ahh but it would bring out the best/worst in some of them. If it was more hard work we'd see less of them sitting around being bored and more entertainment.  Can you imagine Ben having to do a 24 hour task?  I'd like to see that

And if they can't keep new HM in hiding then make them at least pretend that they haven't seen it at all like they used to do.

but it was the pretending that first led to cries of 'fix!!!' and such. its better now they are open about them meeting at auditions etc
That's true.  I hate it though   I used to love thinking that they had all never met (even though I knew some of them probably had at some point)  but this year having them all spend time together  and us be shown it completly ruined the whole "12 strangers in a house together" (or however many there are lol) aspect for me.

You are poking holes in my vision now Jackson  making me have a re-think....maybe 5ive shouldn't buy it at all and let this be the last one...it's probably gone too far now to ever go back to basics.

i don't think them meeting at auditions has that much effect really.

i think for innovations, that aren't darkly manipulative as they have been in previous years, have been good this year and  means c4 may have finally learnt it's lesson, now it's too late, they started the decline  of the show  because of the  control they wanted during bb7,in my opinion, and when they couldn't recover from the loss of faith from the viewers, they sorta washed their hands of bb and have been running it into the ground ever since.

if a new company take it on, hopefully they will have learned from  from c4's mistakes.

bring back diary room uncut and the psychobabble shows too.

I would like to see the American format, where alliances are formed in the open and plots hatched.....and the 'put 'em somewhere else when they're evicted' until the end of the show, when they just sink back into obscurity whence they came. BB should be the show, not what the contestants can make on the back of it.

And ditch BBLB and BBBM...complete rubbish
