Do you like it?, I only did it once for the first time 2 years ago at Tamworth Ice Rink when I was in year 11 on a school trip since I was a goody two shoes, I was crapping myself as I broke my arm beforeand was scared if I tried I would do it again, I loved it, had to hold the rail first but got the confidence to skate around I deffo preferred it to Tobagganing that was rubbish and I fell on the ice and got my coat soaking wet, crashed into the teacher and the wall pmsl. Something funny happened during Ice Skating was lol after though

We've recently starting going at Christmas to Somerset House in London, around 20 members of my family , really nice location to skate in the court yard. Kills my feet though. but can suffer it for 45 minutes, once a year. This year we might try Wembley Stadium as they are setting up a rink around the outside of the pitch.  Between us we have had a few mishaps....one of them involved my S-I-L banging her head on the ice,
Nasty ....

Some of the teachers tried to bottle out, us teens wouldn't let them though.

When I was skating around I seen some of the people who went from my year chatting, so I went over when I got there I lost control of my skates and I ended up crashing into this girl and we fell over, then when she tried to get up it happened again, was embarrassing they helped her up but wouldn't help me then I ended up doing the splits on the ice trying to lift myself up.

Used to go regular to the Whitley Bay Ice rink .. Even got to skate with the Warriers. They beat me.. I was going full pelt and they finished before I got half way and THEY were skating BACKWARDS!

Still got my own skates in the cupboard but they will look old fashioned now...

Good times Darlo .. keep going it's good for your health. (So long as you break no bones or have a finger sliced off )
