Thank you so so much. Seems stupid but i dont want to have to live without a tv and sound system Hug Valentine

That's not stupid, I couldn't live without mine either. Make sure you put a wanted notice on there, you'll usually get a response. If you can't find anything on there PM me. You're not too far away and I was about to put a portable TV on freecycle myself. It's not great but it would see you through if necessary. I'll keep in back for a bit, just in case. Valentine

Do you know if i can have the goods back after they have been taken if i make full payment?

Getting into an argument about whether they gained entry is just delaying the inevitable.. and if they can prove they were then it's more grief than it is worth.

When are they coming round?

Go to CAB

They will draw up an income/expenditure plan ..IN YOUR FAVOUR ... and send it to your debtors with an amount you can repay. Once they have that they can't push for any more or contact you. SERIOUSLY ... I have a 20 grand debt that is being repayed at ÂĢ1 a month because of my financial position!!!! ... 3 months later and already they have contacted me with a settlement figure of 4 grand! wiping 16 grand off! Just wish I had the 4 grand to do it Crazy

^^^^ I agree with Pepsi.

The CAB are brilliant at this stuff and their involvement carries more influence than you alone. Hug

Right... listen to auntie tupps..

Do not waste your time on calling the bailiffs. They are just the people who are employed to get the money. You need to get this back out of the hands of the bailiff and back to the county court/creditor/whoever is after the money.

If you make one phone call today, make it to the CAB or the National Debtline. Do it now. Pick up the phone and get an appointment asap.

Honestly CAB were fantastic with me...when they do an expenditure thing with you they make sure you are putting down every single thing you can claim for..even if you don't use it ...e.g. they put my monthly shopping bill much higher than I actually spend, and petrol usage too. So that actually leaves me with a bit of cash to play around with every month.

The most useful tool the CAB is the power of negotiation and being listened too by creditors.. much more so than if you contacted them (creditors) by yourself. It is amazing how little a creditor will be willing to accept once they get a letter from them after a full income/expenditure analysis.

Also do i tell CAB about my undeclared (cash in hand) income?

I already have an attacment of earnings will this effect anything?

NP. Kel without details I can't say much except generic stuff.. and I'm miles away from you so I can't just pop round and sort it out as much as I'd love to.

You need to take every little piece of info with you to the debt counsellor and they'll be able to advise you fully.

Seriously, once you do this.. and as long as the payment plans that are worked out are stuck to.. it will be a weight off your mind. Hug

I can only assume Kel that because you allowed them access and watched them as they poked around your stuff and listed it that they thought you knew what was going on. You would have had letters too yeah? Before they came.

The last letter i had was to let me know someone was due to call at my address. That was back at the end of April/start of May. Mostly they rang me/i rang them. When it comes to this kind of thing i am very nieve. I didn't realise that once they have been inside the property they can then gain access anytime they like.

I hope you are never in this situation again.. but if you ever in your life get a letter like that again, promise me you will immediately call the CAB and lock your doors and keep your windows shut. Hug

How does one delete an inbox?

I had over 1000 messages in my inbox so i selected all instead of having to go through them one by one. Then selected delete
But have you deleted your 'Deleted Messages' box?
When you delete messages from your Inbox they go into a Deleted Messages box, they aren't deleted from your computer unless you delete the Deleted Messages box too..
