We took my friends kids to a local one a few months back.
The 2 year old loved it, her 9 year old brother was petrified of the chickens and ducks roaming around.
He was climbing on the picnic tables to avoid them pmsl
whose baby did you take Darlo?

QOTHT - I didn't take the mickey out of him because I know it can make fears worse but he is the wussiest kid you've ever met.

My best mate's boy is like that. I can see my OH physically restraining himself from shouting at him sometimes when he goes off on a megawuss out.

It is frustrating to see. I think a lot of it is because his mum lost a child in a freak accident and it has made her utterly paranoid about anything happening to her younger two - which is understandable.
He is the only one of her kids who didn't spend a lot of time with me as a toddler (she wasn't living near me then) and the older ones swear he would have been a different kid if he had
It was funny but embarrassing watching him running around the farm yard trying to escape the birds - and his little sister picking them up and cuddling them!
You have to be careful on farms though - a good few years back a local lad caught e coli on a school trip to a farm and is brain damaged now. it's so difficult to stop them putting their hands in their mouths when they've been touching the animals

I love going there to see the lights. Shame they're not on this year.
