Blimey! You're right Sooz!  What a hideous thing to say to him though!  I've never bought the 'Becky is a great HM' line. But that takes her into another league!

However. I'm possibly ashamed to mention that I wondered if this was a secret mission for Scott from get-go. (Channeling erin again!)  I could never believe BB would not haul him out or his family wouldn't want him out and importantly that he wouldn't want out himself.   I wonder if he also had to get another HM to attack him about it? Hence her smirk?

I really need to take a chill pill, don't I?

Xochi - I don't think he's told the others in the house. I really don't think Becky would have said that if she knew.

Oh! You could have a point there Sooz.  My imagination running away with me again!

I'm pretty certain the other hms don't know BUT if he's getting upset about being called a nasty person and he's connected that in his head to his choice to stay in the house rather than be with his family and at his sister's funeral, well, he's dead right. I never really got why, when he told Becky that he hated her and she then said that was nasty, that HE was the one who got all wounded!

Yes but - if you get the opportunity to watch it again he is just a wee bit angry and frustrated and then Becky mentions his sister and he sort of crumbles. I think realisation has just set in.

I can understand that Sky, but then would you have a meltdown in the way Scott did? As I recall the thing he took exception to with Becky was that he and his sister told each other that they hated each other all of the time, but didn't really mean it, just 'words'...I'm confused!

Me too, but we dont know the whole story, or do we? Thats the worst of not having LF. Surely tho, Becky wouldnt have made such an insensitive remark had she known the girl had died, or would she....? She did seem very happy, going by the smirk on her face, that she had a hit a chord. If she does know, that was very cruel

Supes....Xochi....skylark..

Right about the Becky thing..The thing that got me was she smirked when she made him cry..that sickened me..

Right with his sister dying..Scott said I don't want to talk about it but he might have talked about it since..now if Scotts parents have told BB that the sisters death is not to be talked about they would'nt air those conversations because BB don't have rights with people outside the house..if you get what I'm saying..

No matter what Becky does now I'll never forget that smirk when she made Scott cry....

Yes of course BB must go by the family,s wishes. She could have least got up and said sorry and gave him a cuddle. How can you lie in bed smirking when your friend is crying ??

She really sickened me when she did that, I did'nt even twig about the sister bit so it was just the fact she smirked when he was clearly upset that annoyed me....

stonks

The thing is saying Becky annoyed you be smirking, she doesn't know about his sister.

What we saw was an edited version of what happened.  For all we know Scott might have said something in the middle of the conversation to make her smirk.

I am not sticking up for her, she gets on my wire, but without LF we don't know. For all we know, she might have thought he was having one of his hissy fits.

Exactly the same for me stonks. I was expecting some amusing banter between them and suddenly it took a handbrake turn and became bizarre in the extreme!

I don't blame Scott for not leaving the house, not without knowing the details of his sisters death.    It might have been expected, or a known possibility, she might have told him she wanted him to follow his dream, do it for her, kind of thing.

I felt sorry for him last night when he went to say about his sister in the present tense...  and got as far as "my sis..."  and then you saw the moment he remembered.

its so bloody hard,  loved ones dying...    I'm all for people doing what they need to do to cope with the business of having to get to grips with the fact that life goes on

Yes possibly, they can edit anything to suit.  But BB know that we know, so if it was edited , very cruel and manipulative on their part. But then when did that stop them..

Yes. You're absolutely right and I'm now ashamed that I was sitting in judgment over him. I should practice what I preach eh, DittyMoo?

   I wasn't telling you off!

And... there is a chance that I could be eating my words, if its revealed that it was a sudden & tragic death, & that they had been the closest of siblings, and his family were devastated & in real need of him...

but I just don't reckon its like that

I was going to post in here, but you've said it all for me, Ditty.
