Well, it stopped raining overnight and it's been bright today with a short spell of rain, nothing to write home about. The cleanup seems to be going well, although traffic is slow, it's gradually getting back to where it should be.

At its peak, the rain last night fell at over 9mm in an hour. The rainfall for Sheffield's autumn 2019 currently stands at 414.4mm - our second-highest on record.â
Paul Hudson, the weather presenter for BBCâs Look North, added: âThursday is now the wettest November day on record in Sheffield with 74.1mm, beating the previous set in 2000.â
Weather data has been recorded in Weston Park since 1882, making it one of the longest-running stations in the country.

Iâve seen the news reports today and your area has been hit hard.
My family were fine as were those in Worksop which was quite bad, hope you are ok EC

I'm very good thanks Machel. I' lucky as I live on the second floor of an apartment block reasonable high up a hill. It's all looking better now.
Not too far from me - this was 2012 - those flats were demolished - people were not allowed back in to collect their belongings.
