I've got my fingers crossed for it, if it's meh I'll be really disappointed

It's a 6 part mini-series. David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson & Mitch Pillegi are back. William B Davis also features. Chris Carter wrote 3 of the episodes.

Sad to say it will never be the same as it was. They never are when they are "resurrected"

It quite a long video, but will certainly watch it when I have half an hour.

Don't forget. First episode is tonight at 9 pm. It's preceded by the documentary The X files reopened about the making of the new series . That's the video I posted on 12 January above but that appears to have been removed from Youtube.

I can't wait ....and as long as David Duchovny hasn't gone too far * over the hill*  I will love it

A bit concerned that i might be expected to recall story-lines (for tie-ins) that i watched almost 20 years ago.

I've avoided the pre programme programme I intend savouring the return of Mulder after I sign off  

some bizarre movie trailers at the moment.

we are still catching up on various bits. Tonight 'schland '83 and various Street episodes.

I watched it today ....the jury's out on the storyline .....but I have to say that Fox has aged better than Dana

Amazing what a Hollywood make-up department can do!

I only got to watch about 20% of it before I had to go to bed. 

What I did see was scene setting.

I didn't manage past 1/2 of the first eppy, wasn't enough for me to make the effort of catching up on it

Frankly, I stopped believing after series 3 

I watched the first one and recorded the rest , but can't say I was too impressed  

It was a mistake to resurrect the series. Let sleeping dogs lie
