Sandra Happy NY et all ... haven't seen you for a million years - hope you and yours are well
I haven't looked yet, but Mr C got a card thing like this sent to him last week, and I figured it right away. I'm sure it's because it gets you to focus on a colour and the number. So when you get the answer they have changed all of the numbers from the original ones you look at, but you are only looking for your number and don't realise all of the numbers are different.
I will go test my theory.

Yes, it's all about re-distributing the numbers and using colours to narrow down your choice. The selection of the colour from about 9 (i can't remember exactly) I think is a red herring and does not have a bearing on the outcome.

I kinda thought it had something to do with the colour but.............
I don't know what happened, but I've just done it again, and it got it wrong, all the numbers had changed. I'll keep investigating.
I officially give up. Plus my pen has ran out

Right, c'mon........we're all agog!
So here we have it. Forget the crystal balls and the doors the answer lies within the colour of the first number, and the house your number sits in.
In my last try I chose number 21 (which is a pink colour).
So the numbers sit in these colour groups. (they never change)
Green numbers are: 9 12 16 23 25
Pink numbers are: 1 6 14 21 22
Black numbers are: 7 8 11 19 24
Blue numbers are: 3 4 10 17 18
Red numbers are: 2 5 13 15 20
(So there are 5 numbers in each colour group. When you click the colour of your number you have just narrowed it down from 25 numbers to 5)
After you have clicked the colour group of your number it asks you to choose a colour, this is a distraction tactic.
You are then given a choice of 5 houses, each containing 6 numbers, so the range of numbers has changed from 25 to 30.
The houses contain these numbers (and that never changes either)
House A: 1 4 11 12 13 30
House B: 2 9 10 21 24 26
House C: 8 14 17 20 25 28
House D: 3 5 19 22 23 27
House E: 6 7 15 16 18 29
So if you look, no number that appears in each colour group, appears in the same house.
I chose 21 a pink number (pink numbers are 1 6 14 21 22), the other bits they ask are irrelevant, number 21 appears in house B (numbers are 2 9 10 21 24 26).
So by telling them the colour and the house, because additional numbers were added, they know your number.

Right, c'mon........we're all agog!
It took me ages to type it. Plus I was crying over my ruined lipstick
Call me Sherlock, Sherlock Cinds

I will look at this in the morning ... it looks far too complicated to attempt tonight

I hate things like this. There is obviously a logical reason for how it works, but i can never figure them out!!
I'll have a look and let you know!
It#s quite simple really. Most of it is irrelevant.
So:-
Pick a number, (there are 25 numbers and there are 5 colours. Each colour has 5 numbers) then click the colour of that number, The program now knows which group of 5 your number is in.(all the instructions to say or think so many times are just to confuse) You then click on a coloured rectangle, again this is to confuse, All it does is take you to the next page.
The next page has 5 houses with 6 numbers in each.
Each house has one erroneous number (over 25) and ONLY ONE number from each colour group. So as soon as you tell which house contains your number, the program can match it to the colour that you clicked on originally. Hay Presto, it will be behind whichever door you open. and it is of no consequence which door you choose. If it appears to get it wrong, then I'm afraid that means YOU have made a mistake.
