the news this morning that climate change protestors were planing on demonstrating today however they were keeping the location a secret because they believe the police will not handle the situation correctly however by keeping it a secret are they causing more trouble or si this the best way forward?? Would it not be better for these people to work with the police in order to arrange a peaceful protest??

Well i hope its not in Scotland, i think we have enough problems at the moment !
It's on Blackheath Common, a quite sleepy but rather lovely, and somewhat pricey, suburb in South London. The residents seemed rather made up to have a bunch of middle class gypsies and the attendant tv cameras on their doorsteps.
BBC London followed a girl who travelled all the way from East Finchley with a ginormous backpack to attend the camp. She would have probably found it a lot easier to protest against late model neo classical global capitalism if she'd just commuted in on the Northern Line.
