IMO....I think we should all post, and treat each poster as they post with us, a lot of posters just post for banter, some are real friends, some have differences of opinions...........but newbies or oldies all deserve to be able to pop in and add their two penceworth when they please.........to me this is starting to sound a bit like a school playground debate..........

Ah. Apolgies. I should have said 'the NOTW which is no longer in circulation but of which the Publisher, the CEO and former Editor of said former publication are currently involved in a huge legal scandal for hacking into the phones of dead people whilst the publication was in circulation'.

No....you should have said News Corp.....as all those concerned are part or were part of that organisation....but hey ho, whatever floats your boat

But the story is about the actions of those who ran the News of the World publication and what sources were used to print stories within that publication. There are no current allegations towards another other brands within News Corp yet?

I haven't asked myself, but I've seen myself accused very recently (I wasn't there at the time also but it was later brought to my attention). It didn't get very long either, 3 or 4 main contributors I think. I couldn't be arsed to respond coz by the time I was told, I was sipping on a crispy white by a beach in Normandy and having too much fun  Still gotta say, I feel bad for Jonesy if he did see pages and pages....didn't see the original but this thread has opened a (mostly) mature discussion.

I.m not 65 either and I know the lyrics and the tune( I actually sang it as I read it) and the artiste - The Inkspots. My parents had that record and it was played often as me and my sisters were growing up.

TBH ......................I've been on both sides - I have had a truly horrible thread started about me and there were a few who joined in - the FM was banned and if I knew she was back un der another guise I would have no hesitation in outing her. I put my hands up and say - I'm guilty of having little digs (not anything major) but - it is what it is. I will say for every little dig I give - I get it back x10.

The hypocrisy in this thread has to be seen to be believed TBH. It would appear that everyone is whiter than white .................I stayed away cos I know I'm guilty of the odd dig or two but ..............Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

And now its spam, but the worse kind.  (Spam being defined as unsolicited or undesired electronic messages, but in this case with a fairly nasty message.)  Himself may have been a bit of a nobber but I am not sure he deserved the vilification that he received.  He never bothered me and I generally ignored him.  I never bothered him and he generally ignored me.  Works fine.
