No they'd just ban us half way through and delete the thread....there was no arguement Col just alot of accusing without the person there to defend themselves, who then saw what was said and deregged....

I remember a few times being told if anyone mentions such and such names they will be banned , surely you must have seen these posts, they were on often enough in the past, any time someone mentioned certain banned members name to be exact ?

To be fair... this is certainly not the worst forum, DS is alot worse. And on other forums theres usually alot of fm's throwing insults at each other.

You won't find a more friendly forum, however, it is alot easier to be a newbie on those forums... due to there being so many members on others, its easy to just blend in without facing an interrogation. With Gaga though, its not so easily done as we are a small community...

TBH, we've all managed to find this place a couple of years ago. The ones that didn't never will and I think we are what we are and I like it. This is a nice forum and it does not need a heavy hand of moderation.

I think this is healthy discussion, really. I'd really like for you ALL to understand, and I'm willing to keep discussing it (to a point).

However, I'm at a loss to explain basic manners.

My mother said that if you didn't have something nice to say about someone, you shouldn't say it. When I step in (sorry...I think cologne used the word "interfere") it's because people are getting hurt, or are GOING to get hurt, and, by the way: that's my job--to keep that from happening as best as I can.

Not many Sprout.  Do you remember when it was fun on C4? (apart from the useless mods and persistent prats of course)

And now its spam, but the worse kind.  (Spam being defined as unsolicited or undesired electronic messages, but in this case with a fairly nasty message.)  Himself may have been a bit of a nobber but I am not sure he deserved the vilification that he received.  He never bothered me and I generally ignored him.  I never bothered him and he generally ignored me.  Works fine.

Next time I see him here I shall invite him for his favourite meal and we can talk about the good old days, if we can remember any.

I have been very careful since I was banned, but I look and read and watch and I find that people who used to speak their mind don't anymore in case you think they are beyond the pale. It's not good.

I'm really sorry you don't like my moderation style, cologne. And I'm sorry that you don't think you can be yourself on here without fear of getting banned. I'm not sure, but I think you are in the minority (I hope).
