It got better.  After I had given her the shoes, her husband started chatting to me, and asking where I was originally from, as he realised my accent wasn't a Newcastle Geordie one.  When I told him the village I was from in Durham, he asked 'do you know 'blokes name?', who was the guys cousin. I burst out laughing, the bloke used the be engaged to my ex-best mate  Plus blokes little brother was in my form class in secondary school.  Small world!

I have 2 pairs similar.  But they have flowers on one side instead of the bow.  One pair is a lovely shimmery purple colour and the other black with red flowers printed all over.
