So far as I can see and within the parameters of m'phone he's 1/4 and the chick is about 7/2 and drifting. Thus £400 wins £100. I don't know who either of 'em are mind.

TBH, I'm not that comfortable about making recommendations for bets: I'd rather just quote the odds and let FMs make up their own minds. I post current odds now and then because some people find them useful and - especially  in the case of Betfair - they can be indicative of trends.  

 

What I would say is that if you think Benedict can survive Friday, you can still get 50/1 for him to win with SkyBet. However he's odds-on to go (roughly 3/10 with Betfair). Now, the bookies haven't done all that well since "vote-to-save" came in, as they can't cope with what that means when more than 2 are up for eviction. However they remain fairly good at predicting head-to-heads, as there's little practical difference between vote-to-save and vote-to-evict in those cases.

You can still get Lauren at 14/1 to win (147/10 on Betfair), and I'd expect that to come down if she survives on Friday...

I'm not too sure about the overall winner market at the moment.

 

I made money on the first eviction betting on Victoria as Lydia was always favourite to go. 9/4 on evction day in a vote to save for a housemate with little or no support just sounded perfect to me!

 

Anyone that thinks Benedict can survive this week and fancies a small wager on the eviction should consider Lauren currently 7/2.

Things have changed, opinion wise, after last nights show .

Dont know if they have betting wise.

I notice a swell of support for Benedict across on Digital Spy based on last nights HL show.

Oddly though the HL show thread on DS last night had, i think, the least amount of pages for the nightly show thread this series.

I meant to post on this thread this morning but didn't have the time: 

 

There was slight movement for Benedict overnight, and it seems to have continued as news of his Caroline/Ashleigh outbursts have filtered through. 

He's still favourite to go, though: roughly 2/5 on Betfair, but shorter on other bookies. Lauren's 2/1.

The movement is more noticeable on his "to win" odds, with one bookie now only offering 22/1! (So if Velvet or anyone-else was keen on that 45/1 bet, they'd better have taken it last night, because the chance has gone!   )

 

IMO, it's all going to depend - as it so often does - on the HL edit. From the perspective of Benny fans, I'd be concerned that:

(a) BB have been closing the voting lines early this year (thus limiting the effect of voting during HL shows), and

(b) BB hasn't previously broadcast Caroline's comments about her family, so it might be awkward for them to show Benedict criticizing her about it...
