I did a big huge goodbye, I enjoyed writing it, I meant every word, I dont care I'd do it again, I know nobody died, but it was the end of something for me..

You're kidding? Well that just comfirms to me that it wasn't so much a financial decision to ditch the forums, as a repositioning of its 'brand'.
