It was nice to see the little ones get bigger lol but I dont miss them they are only stars, I like this forum as it but you cant win some are now saying hide the post count 
Frankly, stars and post counts didn't really matter to me.
Although I understand that some people felt they were important, there were some new posters who felt intimidated by them.

I do wonder why they aren't showing, as the 'karma' thing which refers to the stars, is on the profile, so surely it just needs to be 'switched on,'. Although I shan't be making an effort to build them up quickly or anything... I was trying to get a shiny medium sized star at the other forum (for 5,500 posts,) and was actually at about 4700 when they announced the site would be closing. And I was a bit peeved that I had made all the effort over the past few weeks for nothing. Bet people with multiple 10s of 1000s of posts were really peed off!
If they DO bring back the stars, I'll just post when I feel like it now, and won't post as much as poss to try and get bigger stars like I did for the last couple of months of the Ch4 forums LOL.

They were intimidating and I'm glad they'ver gone. Wish the post count would go too
