Hasn't posted since 23 September but did visit here a few days ago on 30 October.

BLizzy is my one BIG miss on here too. I really miss her posts. The place really isn't the same without her.

Can I point out to the Mods that if people have settings that have  their online status set to not be shown surely that means if they visit that information is private and only available to Admin not for the whole membership..   even if they have online status set to show it is still not your place to give out private  info about a members activity that you were entrusted with when you became Mods.. 

Some may not mind you telling  people info but some might... best practice is that as it is private info, as only you lot can see it, you should stick to keeping it private for all..

yes I know I am moaning on about stuff again .. but I really hate it when Mods give out info that they shouldn't..  sorry

if it was a case where people were really worried about someone then maybe ask Lori to look into something privately...  but in most cases if people aren't seen around it is probably because they choose not to be seen around or rather be around and not post and probably don't want the whole world to know...

Hi Olls - I agree with the principle of private info being kept that way, but I don't think they're  actually giving out any info that people can't find anyway.  If you click on a profile for someone I'm pretty sure it tells you when they last logged in- whether they were 'visible' or not.  I think the invisible thing just means your wee gingerbread figure doesn't glow when you're online and your avatar isn't visible.   I might be wrong .. but I think that's how it works.

fair enough guys .. when the first Mod posted info about when someone last logged in I did go and check to see if I could find the same info .. obviously I didn't look far enough .. but yes if everyone can find the same info then I withdraw my slap on the wrists. .

the gingerbread man only glows if you are online and have not ticked the box to hide your online status. . it doesn't affect your Avi or anything ..I always show as offline as I have a set load of tabs that automatically  open in my browser each day but I am not necessailry on any of those pages... it's just easier to open it where I left off 

wouldn't worry about it GJ it's me still with an admin head on from my other groups tutting at something that ended up not being tuttable at all..

The bit about the avi - I meant it doesn't show on 'current visitors' if you have your online status hidden.

I really miss Erin   too. Not just because she was interesting and  great entertainment on the forum, but also because was personally very kind to me. So I hope she'll come back.

Glad you got that sorted Olly. Anyone can click on the members status.El Loro was being helpful for GJ,as he knows, and others know, he usually posts from his phone.If you read about the mods, you would know they cant be given personal info.Maybe you forgot
