I used to work with someone who would always go back to work in the office on Boxing Day as he was the only person there and could get on with his work without getting any disruptions.
When I break on the 24th I have booked off a month (or I will have Monday when I stick in another week).

To be fair i only work part time but I'm very busy while there!

Yes it's partly down to me having to cancel two weeks in November which was my birthday week as I had to go on a two week course.
