Good gravy, no! As a nation we complain about the rain and the cold all the time. I shan't stand for complaining about this glorious warmth and sunshine .

I hate it being fair is not good in this weather, I've got the fan on but it doesn't seem to be doing anything

Oh eck Aims.  I think fans just move the hot air around. Have you got windows open? 

Now the sun has gone in, I've just watered my new lawn, and I'm loving watching the dogs roll around on it to cool off.

I'm loving it...chilled with my cousin and daughter watching the sun going down over the Solway Firth...family times, nice wine and really lovely company, I'm content tonight

I'm dying!  I'm usually  at people who moan about the very little summer we do get but this week I am joining them in their moan.

I had a hospital appointment this morning and was trying to put some make up on but it kept sliding off my face and my hair was just getting poofier the more I tried to straighten it.  I gave up and went to the car to wait for OH as the air con is a lovely little god-send in that weather.  The hospital was a bit warm but not too bad......for the first hour.  Then I started to feel like every pore in my body was sweating and I drank so much ice water I was in the toilet more times than on my chair.  Got home and instead of starting to paint I just went to bed where it was cool and soft and cool.  This evening is very clammy and I have the fan on.

Been reading some good tips on pregnancy forums about keeping cool in that weather.  Have the fan on, yes, but put a bowl of ice water in front of it so it's actually circulating cold air.  Put your bed sheet in the freezer before bed......dampen it down a little first and then freeze it for a while before draping it over you in bed and you'll find it easier to sleep.  Keep half filled bottles of water in the freezer and then top up with water when you need them, handy ice cold drinks when you want them.
