First time I went to Blackpool I snuck out of the gala dinner (work thing, very posh, long frock affair) that I was attending, put on the jeans and did the Golen Mile.

By the way.....It is tipping it down just now, but we did manage to get out for a few hours earlier. 
Pretty windy too. The hotel flag is horizontal at times!

Yes I was in Blackpool yesterday and had a lovely time. We went for lunch at the beach house and then on to the tower, the ballroom was stunning and the glass floor at the top was so much fun.

Thanks sweet, we had a nice time (we're back home now), hope you did too. Was it just for the day that you were in Blackpool?
We took a tram up from the Pleasure Beach to the Tower around 10:30, we didn't actually go into the ballroom (but don't tell Velvet as he'd be very disappointed. ) but we did go into the 'Eye 4D show' and then up to the observation levels, walked over the glass floor and then climbed the wee blue stairs to the upper level where we got well blown about as we walked round to the 'down staircase. We were back down by about twelvish.
Of the things you've mentioned, that's the only one that we've done the same!
We went into Harry Ramsden's for lunch.
Ooooh Fluffers, I do love a bit of Harry Ramsden's when I'm by the sea! We used to have one here in Oxford many years ago, it lasted about two minutes!

Yes it was just the one day fluffy, we were up the tower 3D area around 2.30pm! I loved the glass floor if you'd have known, you could have left me a message in steam on the windows hehe!
I requested the gift shop start stocking Xmas tree baubles, it's surprising they don't already. I do collect souvenir pencils though
