My daughter thinks he's the bees knees......I've read some of the books and really enjoyed them

My advice would be to read Guards Guards and if you like it decide if you just want to read the most popular or the whole lot in order   They arent very big books at least not the early ones.

I've read that one and several others too......then she gave them all to her younger cousins, without telling me

But hey, let's not make a drama out of a gnat's bollok, eh?

Drama queen who likes to embellish and fabricate, imo.

I am not sure what she was embellishing here.  Lucy and co certainly dont like Amy at all and have made that clear.  Making comments like I wonder if she will pick up on how we feel about her in previous days.  Hate maybe a strong way of wording it but its certainly not far from the truth.

I am not sure of Amys motives for telling Lucy this though because she isnt stupid and I can see Lucy taking the bait and having a right go at Al now.

Embellish was a polite way of saying she was lying through her teeth. I seriously doubt that Al ever said that Lucy was leading a campaign of hate against Amy, and that's why Amy did not want Lucy mentioning it to Al because he would deny it. Remember she was caught out already when she told Kian and Joey that Annabel wanted to go home, when she had said no such thing.

In this case though there isnt any embellishing its quite clear how much Lucy dislikes Amy and we have seen enough of them conspiring against her behind her back.  Annabel actually thought Amy would want to save her so not sure why we are taking her word for it either we barely see a small percent of their conversations.

But Amy let Lucy believe that Al had told her that Lucy was leading a campaign of hate against her - and we have seen no evidence that he did. I think she embellished/fabricated/lied.

Btw, read on DS that Amy has previous for this sort of behaviour on another show she appeared on.

Thanks - I'll bear that in mind when I get around to it!

And that is why ITV are running with it. An hours show every night ............I'm sure lots happen in the day and it doesn't all revolve around the little princess but that's all we're getting to see.

But Lucy has been constantly bitching behind Amy's back, we have seen that, it's obvious to any non biased person that Amy has been sidelined by the bulk of the group, which has been led by Lucy.

The only liar in that camp has been Rebecca, she outed herself tonight by claiming that she had no idea of any bitching about Amy.

I really dont care if Al said it or not, it may even have been someone else but Lucy is running a hate campaign against her.  It could well be justified but she should suck it up because that is exactly what she has been doing and should be responsible for the consequences.

Which is why this thread will never have a conclusion because there is not one person who is non biased where Amy is concerned.

Reply to Vids and Capt, as the multi quote is getting too long.

No matter how you read the situation in camp, the fact remains that Amy let Lucy believe that Al had said there was a campaign of hate against her and Lucy was the ringleader. If Al did not say that (and there is no evidence that he did) then Amy is a poo-stirring liar.

Doesn't mean she lied, maybe she paraphrased what he said, maybe he did tell her that but it wasn't filmed...but I trust what I've seen on my TV and what I've seen is a bunch of nasty bitchy people, who let Joey get away with murder but attack Amy all the time...and it's just horrible.
