When mine sings he starts off ok...then goes off key and sends everyone else haywire

Mine can sing, he's a mic hogger though and embarrasses the heck out of me 

If I could sing I'd hog it as well, because I sound like a cat being strangled😂

I'm very high, only song I'm allowed to sing is 'Islands in the Stream'   then the mic gets removed 

I can do a decent Edith Piaf when pished, but usually I just mime😂
