Just to freak out the spider haters like me.... my mate at work had a baby in August, so she was getting up at silly o'clock to feed it.. three times she got up around 3 a.m. and found a huge spider - ON THE HEADBOARD....

Was it as huge as my Pedro?  Shall I try and find that lovely photo I have of him?

Oh, I'd forgotten Pedro - yes, let's see him again!

They hurt at the time like a wasp sting...then they itch like hell like a Mozzie bite and leave a similar lump for ages......they are the spawn of the devil

 

a friend of mine got a nasty infection from a spider bite a couple of years ago...she said it was really painful when it bit her

It's the same as wasps and bees, if you are allergic to the venom it travels in the bloodstream
