Ah, I was wondering what the purpose of them was at work. Thanks

I'm no computer knowledgeable person but that's what the guy who looks after my computers suggested. It seem a little faster too

We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity . When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:

Routine...

(1) The woman buys the food.

(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.

(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand.

(4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman.

Here comes the important part:

(5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

More routine...

(6) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.

(7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he flips the meat.

Important again:

(8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.

More routine...

(9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table.

(10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:

(11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts.

(12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed ' her night off ', and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.

I love that

Just read it to Mr Woo .............he cguckled and then said 'yeah but it's only the women that have made it like that'

And ..........I'm loving the hot weather (apart from sticking to the sofa) ..............lovely day in the garden today - paddling pool, bowls, skittles and grandsons - lovely.

Ooooooooooooh Mr Woo has just bought me in a cuppa .....think I touched a raw nerve with that list

Soozy Woo

in the olden days, when I could manage the weather a bit better and was even married, if we had a BBQ and I did all the prep I did the BBQ'ing too... no way I'd let my hubby near the thing at all..  his job was washing up.. probably explains why I no longer have a hubby or  even some sort of  ex from the recent past.. I never let them near the BBQ apart form filling it with coals and attempting to light it and even then they'd muck it up

Mind you I used to be the weekend cook as I got in far too late during the week to do it so exes did the weekday cooking as they all got in a lot earlier. . probably why I did the weekend BBQ'ing too

Mount Olympus *Olly*

Just been out for my Sunday coffee and stroll. The coffee was nice but the stroll was shorter than usual. There is no breeze to speak of and what breeze there is just pushes the heat around. So oppressive.

I think there are going to be some sore bodies tomorrow morning given all the flesh I have seen on display, there does not appear to be much application of sunscreen either - don't they know by now the sun is bad for the skin.

Oh and sleeping last night was a pain despite open windows.
