They've already put the 6 most southerly South African countries on the RED list, but not implementing full restrictions until Monday, as far as I'm aware!

Still allowing travel …fgs ! But at least they are reinstating face mask use ….

I’m have stopped using a face mask when out which is not very often nowadays

I don’t wear one on my walk because I see very few people on my route …but I might start again . Mind you , it’s not the weather for walks these days

I’m the same….but put one on in the shops…..when I remember

The most I've been out in yonks (except two hospital visits) is to put the bins out and bring them in again!

Not been shopping in 2 yrs - not been in a library or anywhere where people gather. Quite frankly i'm terrified to be near people, what a terrible state of affairs

Ditto Renton …..I hate it , but I’m too scared. I have been in a local shop twice out of necessity …it terrified me. I really miss going to the library , I used to go nearly every week, and I helped out with the kids summer reading weeks too.  I also miss my weekly trips to the spa for a massage etc. It wasn’t so bad during Spring and Summer cos I went out for a walk 4/5 times a week …..but now the weather has turned I can’t even do that very often ….like you say, it’s a terrible state of affairs.

Right now I think my local hospital is Raigmore. That's Inverness. Nice scenery though.

And now the news says there are 6 cases found in Scotland.......so far!

Reports so far are saying that those infected with the Omicron variant aren't showing severe symptoms...none have needed hospital treatment. Fingers crossed it stays that way
