And now we've got someone in England potentially infecting the whole population because they didn't give full/proper details. Hope the authorities manage to track them down sooner rather than later, and give them a proportionately hefty jail sentence.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

We have three choices: a good way, a bad way, or an indifferent way. The indifferent way would not be the best of choices, but tolerable. However this government seems to manage, every time, to pick the bad way!

We should have known how this was going to pan out for us just from Boris deciding to go on a 2 week holiday instead of staying and dealing with the information put in front of him at that time....he is a buffoon!

And of course it's not just the people that were on the same flight(s) as them, but all the contacts that this wider group of people have had since. And thus it could spiral out of control again!

Yes, that’s the trouble EFFT .....cue lockdown number 3 !

Someone at the airport didn’t do their job properly in the first place......and as this happened more than 2 weeks ago then if more people had been infected it would have shown up by now,5 of the six did quarantine at home,so the man on the loose may have done the same...

...we just don’t know and that is the problem

Are we ....ive lost count ....I thought this was number 2

I think some went into lockdown before Christmas....we did,but the rest of the country joined us after Christmas, so. I think we’re in lockdown two....only it was spread among areas

So this is national lockdown number 2

Did he actually have the gaul to say that?

I didn't listen. I've got gobbledygook fatigue!!!!!!

No I said that...
re the Mexican variant....Laura Klunesburg ? asked him why was the hotel quarantine not put in place earlier...as in when it was first announced...why did they wait another 2/3 weeks...........to which Matt replied, that we did already have self quarantine at home in place

yeah ..Like that worked

Yes, that’s brilliant news Slim  .....let’s just hope it continues to improve ....and that they can tweak the vaccines to stay ahead of the variants .

It was said today by one expert that those who do not have the vaccine will be a danger to all, as the virus will be able to continue mutating...possibly into a variant that the vaccine won't protect us from.

That's guaranteed.

Don't believe any of them. Including JVT. He's a slow talking patronising dick talking to the massiv.

They think he's popular. Dream fecking on.

I don't think warnings go down too well with all due respect.

He's a Gov't agent they think they can wheel out. Spittin' it out for the thick.

I dunno why anyone buys him. Defeats me

I think the trouble is we have to believe someone ....cos none of us have enough scientific expertise to sort this out ourselves ....and he’s the best of the bunch

Baz

I don't mind him most of the time, but yesterday (or the latest time he was on) was just a bit too slow and ponderous and just seemed to reiterate a lot of what had been said in the previous few briefings, and nothing really new!

They know he's popular and they wheel him out. Do you actually listen to what he says? Caveats.

I don't need patronized by metaphors. He's a fully paid up dick. Pull the other one.

Velvet , he’s about the only one I do tend to listen to.....along with Chris Whitby (although he waffles a bit ) . Having said that , I don’t listen to every broadcast these days .....mainly because they tend to depress me ....so I save my anxiety and just watch major announcements .
