Drove to barbers today - first time out in 5 months

To be told i was double booked and could a come back tomorrow!!!!

Not one person - none - was wearing a face mask - the place looked like no virus had hit!!

People walking around everywhere, busy as usual

Madness - utter madness

You get the impression that so many people think that because the government are easing/lifting restrictions the virus must be gone, therefore they can go back to how they behaved before the lockdown!

Seems like sheer bloody mindedness and "it won't happen to me" mentality

I couldn't care less of i don't have a holiday - others act as if it's their rightful reward for good behaviour

I live in rural Lincolnshire, where there are many elderly (who don’t like being told what to do), I have been to the supermarket with my daughter but it is very stressful, few people in masks but no hand sanitizer or sanitizer for the trolley (fortunately I always carry some with me.

The most stupid thing I have heard? “We haven’t got it in Lincolnshire, it’s only in cities and big towns” 😱🤬

waiting for the lockdown 😷

The stupidity (and selfishness) of people knows no bounds!

The constraints of lockdown are a lot less wearing than the constant nonsense we have to endure from those who should know better, from all levels!

Also in the NHS Greater Glasgow area, contact tracing is taking place at Carntyne Primary, Kelvinside Academy - both in Glasgow - and at Edinbarnet Primary School in West Dunbartonshire.

That's not far away from the primary I went to!

Don't know where East Dunbartonshire went to, 'cos if you go much farther east of Edinbarnet School you're in Glasgow!

It really doesn't help that reports are saying the Flu is now killing more people than COVID

I'm sure some people are thinking "Well . . . . "

I will be having my Flu jab again his year

Further 'exam' grade botch-up. This time for B.Techs. Astounding that this body has an input to the A-levels and GCSE's, but have only now 'realized' that the situation impacts on B.Techs too!

But is anyone really surprised?

Another large group of moany people spending several hundreds of extra pounds to dash back to the UK to try and beat the quarantine - and of course it's all the government's fault - no personal blame on themselves!!!!!

Going to a nearby supermarket and retail park there does seem to be an attitude of “we are ok now”  no limits on number of people in shops, little social distancing and not many with masks ( although I realise some have a medical condition)

That’s why I’m staying locked down Machel  ....except for walking locally . I can get any shopping I need on line .....I’m just too terrified to do anything else It might be different if I could drive , but there is no way I’m using public transport ....or even the taxi firm I used before Covid . I suffered from anxiety prior to the pandemic , and it’s even worse now

I am not using public transport either, too scary, I am traveling in my daughters  cars but only with a mask, hand sanitizer and my paranoia of catching something 😷😷

I retired from work last August, so have avoided that dilemma. However my ex-work colleagues tell me that they all had to continue to go into the office (hospital) as there weren't enough lap tops to let them work from home. Therefor if I hadn't retired I'd also have had to work throughout lockdown.

COVID is the virus that just keeps giving

I'm now a hypochondriac - every sniff or slight sore throat, chest ache  - anything ....

It's the virus

Posted a letter today - mask ON in the car - oh yes!
