Every time you think it can't get worse, you open up the news pages and your heart sinks....God, it's just got worse!!!!!

Given up on news, just too worrying, went shopping today and it is very stressful trying to keep safe
Breaking News:
Bolsonaro's just tested positive for Covid-19.
What a surprise...
'Asymptomatic transmission was warned of by the World Health Organization and the government's scientific advisors, but they weren't able to quantify how great a risk it was.'
Let's just ignore it then - say all the 'responsible' people in charge!!!!!
@Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing posted:That's it Boris, just keep saying what you'd like things to be and if you say it often enough and loud enough a few naive people might actually start to believe you!
P.S. I know it was Hancock who actually spoke the words this time round, but Boris is the one who is (nominally) in charge!

I.E. 10.000 new cases in California!
The start of the England-Windies Test match has just been delayed due to "light rain".
Looks like things really are beginning to return to normal after all!

Just reading the latest from Florida:
>83% of all ICU beds across the State already occupied.
ICUs at 54 hospitals are full.
ICUs at a further 30 hospitals are >90% full.
@machel posted:I think now is the time to panic

If we had panicked more at the beginning perhaps things would have happened sooner and if we were only more scared now people might stop and think before going out
Sunak and the UK Gov have gone mad
Not 6 weeks ago - stay at home - save lives - protect the NHS
Now - Sunak wants to see businesses "BUSTLING" and wants people to eat out in their droves to prop up the economy
We will see more deaths and it's his fault
On my way home from work tonight I passed a Kurdish hairdressers. The man cutting hair had no ppe on whatsoever. Not even a face mask and what made it worse was that the shop (although modest in size) had far too many people in it, none socially distancing.
This is guess is why we are not going to stop this from recurring later in the year.
It might be time to change the title to 'I think we should panic now!'

Total bloody insanity. So sorry this stupidity is going on.

BBC news spoke to some 'expert' about new suggestion COVID is airborne
The expert said he wouldn't gather in close proximity in an enclosed space
Which means aeroplanes and restaurants - aherm

Exactly Renton
I haven't seen the details, but is this a different type of airborne to the one that was discussed when there was that .HOT SPOT' of cases in that monastery?
Fine bloody example she is setting

Half the world is seeing rises in cases and deaths meanwhile the UK is opening up to more places with fewer, if any, restrictions!

This is madness
In years to come there will be a huge enquiry about how we were all put at risk by these decisions

Gove says he doesn't think it necessary to make face mask wearing in shops mandatory.
"My view is it is always better to trust people's common sense.
After the recent scenes of crowded beaches etc. he comes out with this!!!!
WHAT COMMON SENSE?
