well, that's my next eye test sorted, I'll just remove my glasses, drive for 30 odd miles and if I don't knock anyone over I don't need a new prescription

Durham Police are examining further information and complaints in connection to Dominic Cummings.
The force said on Monday that they received further information and complaints from the public and they are reviewing and examining the new information.
Mr Cummings traveled to County Durham in March to self-isolate with his family – apparently because he feared he and his wife would be left unable to care for their son – while official guidelines warned against long-distance journeys.
Further reports suggested the Prime Minister's key aide took a second trip to the north-east in April, having already returned to London following his recovery from Covid-19.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: "We can confirm that, over the last few days, Durham Constabulary has received further information and complaints from members of the public and we are reviewing and examining that information."
It follows the region's acting police and crime commissioner saying he had written to its chief constable asking her to "establish the facts concerning any potential breach of the law or regulations in this matter".
Steve White said there was a "plethora" of additional information which deserved "appropriate examination".

Yes, you can feel his uneasy positioning when answering questions.
He has also said on a number of occasions "people will make their own mind up". Not good if you want to keep votes and anti-Cummings tories on-side.

Cummings drove for half an hour to "test his eyesight" that is a deeply worrying statement. What on earth was he thinking? So while he is driving along with potentially impaired vision...what of the other motorists/ambulances/food delivery trucks that might be involved in an accident because of his entitled recklessness? Forget CV19 that alone is against the law.
I am beginning to wonder if there is more to come out, the man is much like his mate Johnson, a compulsive liar. If you have documented stuff in a blog and then alter that blog on April 14th to make yourself look an expert on pandemics you're going to be caught out So when he said he had written plenty on pandemics he forgot to add he had doctored his blog after his jaunt to Durham.

Because it's a ludicrous excuse Amy and everyone knows he's lying. What I find incredible is that Cummings and Johnson spent hours discussing this and these two men are running the country and this is the best they could come up with, now that thought is terrifying.
Gove is doing the rounds on every news channel this morning and he's making himself look a tit, trying to defend the indefensible really makes people look stupid.
It was his wife's birthday, they went for a drive and now another witness has said there was a group of them there.... how true this is I have no idea.
