I think you mean the thing to post images...you copy the URL of the image you want into that little box and it posts the picture.

Or you can use [img] [/img]

It's of you want to put a picture in your post, but it has to be a picture with it's own URL...(like if you go on Google Images and you get a picture in its own page with no writing....I hope that makes sense you'd never guess I used to teach IT exlpaining stuff so badly!)

You can use it for smileys from other sites as well. You find the smilie and right click it and (depending on your brower) will get an option to copy the image location...then you'd paste it in the IMG box.

You avatar you would do via your control panel.
