Oh I see! Thank you Soozy
Yogi, Sweet has been out to see that several times
I know, she's very lucky, Moonie.
I hadn't seen a pic of it until Cinds posted one, and now I really want to see it.
Yogi, I've got an app that tells me when it will be visible 'GoISStracker' but here's a website http://www.isstracker.com/

I would think its too 'lit up here where I am' to see it Yogi but good luck to you
Moonie, as long as the sky is clear you'll see it, despite light pollution.

If you have a clear sky where you are ISS will be visible tonight between 22.55 and 23.00. Travelling from the SW at about 15 degrees above the horizon. Good luck spotting it.
The ISS is back in our (UK) skies in August.
Get your cameras out!

can you tell me us when the best time to look is (and all other relevant info?)
ISS will be making another really good pass tonight, between 23.08 and 23.18, from where you are look south and then watch towards the west for it approaching.
21.34 it will be passing, apparently very bright, look in the south of the sky.
That was a really good bright pass. It will be back round at 23.10. Look south again and it will come from the west.
it is very cloudy here
Its going to be doing passes 2 to 3 times a night for the rest of the month. Pray for a clear night on Tuesday as in addition to the ISS passing it is also when the maximum activity of the Perseid meteor shower occurs.

thank you x
Machel, if you have a device that supports apps, search for GoISSWatch, it's free and is brilliant for telling you when it will be visible.

Sorry Machel, Ive just seen your question. I hadn't bothered looking last night as it was too cloudy. Tonight's visible passes will be at 21.30 & 23.08
last night was very clear here in South Lincs and saw the ISS at 10.20 ish for about 4-5 minutes, went back inside and looked at web page and the ISS was nearly into Austria! (had web site open and was watching its progress) also saw a few meteors - was fantastic!
Brilliant. So glad you saw it. Are you hooked now?

I follow them too. But if you have a phone/tablet or something that supports apps. Download GoISSwatch. It's free and will tell you where to look in the sky from where you are.
