Big Grin How you doing hun? How's the sickness going?

luckily i've not been sick yet, i just can't eat much (idea of eating makes my stomach churn). i've lost over a stone since i found out i was pregnant Disappointed
i've been eating as much as i can though each day. eaten quite a bit today....compared to the last few weeks Ninja

Hug I was starving for the first couple of months. Then I went off food for a bit but in the last week I can't get enough to eat. I'm trying to stop myself otherwise this baby os going to be a total bloater! Red Face

Have you gone public yet?

aye everyone knows now Smiler i told my SIL and she was blurting to tell my brother. so i let her. then cos he can't keep his gob shut i decided to text my other bro and dad to let them know before he told them lol. and my OH told his dad on the phone...then asked him advice about the snip Laugh ..then my dad told my aunt who told my cousins who told everyone else Laugh

i always lose weight and go all 'i cant eat' in early stages (or at least...when i find out lol). then by 20 weeks i eat like a horse and wont stop. i've only ever put a stone on though during a pregnancy (all babyweight basically). but once baby comes out i tend to be back to square one Ninja

i need to be constantly pregnant i think....hmm....a mate did ask me to be a surrogate a few months ago Ninja

Aww, it's better that it's all out in the open, even if it was only because the bush telegraph went into overdrive! Laugh
Bliddy hell, sounds like you're lucky with the weight thing, I've looked like a weeble all the way through. My OH kept asking if it was normal for me to be 'that big'. Disappointed Roll Eyes Mind you, I'd rather be constantly fat than preggers! Disappointed Laugh

Thanks! Well, if labour doesn't happen by the 21st I am guaranteed the c-section that been booked on that day....so aching chuff and baggy, stretched la la is relieved and avoided at all costs (seriously c-section is for medical reasons, nothing posh bout me), but phew anyway! Big Grin

varies from woman to woman...i gain weight SOOO easily when not pregnant. and hormonal contraceptions make me ballon (hence OH getting done...easier lol). opposite when pregnant.

putting quite a bit of weight on is common though, dont worry too much. my slim mate put 2 stone on, and looks exactly the same as before now...4 months later. anoher friend puts 3-4 stone on each baby! again she loses it afterwards...pretty much. i always gain it lol! i've always been backwards Laugh

I don't actually know how much weight I've put on. Nobody's ever weighed me and I don't have any scales at home. My tummy is hoooge but my boobs have actually shrunk. Disappointed Confused Ah well, I suppose I'll find out what's happening soon enough.

Can you not wash baby clothes in normal washing powder? Confused I actually dont know btw!

You just have to use non biological powder, most normal powders are bio which is too harsh for babies sensitive skin and makes them prone to rashes.

never weighed you? Eeker i always get weighed, esp my first midwife appointment. mind you i'm on the large side and they have to send people over a certain BMI to a specialist (mine is weird and wears a dicky bow tie Big Grin).

wish my boobs shrink....atm mine have gone upto an F (from an E) and i'm only 9 weeks Eeker
Darthhoob
OI you! Pregnant person!

The weighing thing I can go with, they don't weigh you much, but they HAVE to test your piss every appointment along with your blood pressure, if they are not doing this they are
a) Negligent
b) or you are shitting us all...

I have given birth to 3 kids and with every child I had to have a piss test and blood test every appointment! And by the way I also had SPD with my last child Big Grin

I've kept all my baby clothes in cases in the loft, sometimes I open the cases to look at the baby clothes and I can still smell the beautiful scent of my boys. I'm keeping the clothes for any grand children I may have in the future, I always bought Michael de Leon clothes and they will stand the test of time. My sons are 28 & 19 I'm hoping the 28 year old will hurry up.

Oooooh oh oh that might have been a bit harsh of me but I have just had the most SPLENDID idea.....

We need a pregnancy/baby/parenting forum section on here - then all the fascinating minute by minute happenings can be logged in their own special place. Oooooh you could print it off when the child turned 18 and present it to them.

That is actually a BRILLIANT suggestion. Eeker

MODS WE WANT A PARENT/CHILD SECTION PLEASE!!!!
