Marmite is fab on toast.

 

I don't usually eat butter, but I have to have it with marmite though. If I have just marnite it gets right into my fillings like going to the dentist and having a filling, with no injection.

Oh sorry Skylark There has only been Super and me in the thread for the last couple of weeks.... and I think Supes was only there cos I twisted their arm... , so, as it was the last one of the series I didn't bump the thread....

I love a bit of Marmite .....................I can see why some don't. It really is a love it or hate it thing. I can fully appreciate the saying 'it's like marmite' - it's one of those things you either love or hate. I can't think of another foodstuff/thing that evokes quite the same reaction.

Ah Bovril! Cold Saturder afternoons at the football. One is sent out to get the Bovrils. Ones team scores. Bovril is/was magnificent. Marmite is indeed the devil's sheight.
