I hate wrecking spiders houses - that's why I rarely dust etc, - that's my excuse anyway.

We had a spiders web on the shed door for ages - my OH used to catch flies from the compost to feed it. He was our pet for weeks - my husband was gutted when he died.

Spiders webs look beautiful in the winter covered in ice.

I'm scared of spiders.

The webs are pretty when they are covered in frost - as long as the spider isn't at home.

I'm not keen on spiders myself Yogi but their webs are works of art

They are clever little beasties - but eeeeevil!

lol i'm not keen on them . in my house , but i was in awe watching it weave away outside my window   it looks beautiful

I don't mind them through the day where you can see them  but I'm not sure I'd like to share my bedroom with one at night

I love spiders - they fascinate me. I saw a huge one in the garden the other day. He was quite happy scurrying about....

Now that is truuuuuuuly horrible. I like to watch them but I'd seriously freak out if I woke up to find one on my face.

As I say I'm fine through the day with them, when I know where they are

I would have needed paramedics and paddles  

It absolutely does not bother me..

However a certain person HATES them with a passion...

It wasn't nice - I have to admit to screaming like a banshee.

Issy, I'm terrified of them and if one was on me  One was crawling up my daughter dressing gown one morning, first time I seen her naked since she was a child

I don't mind spiders at all.

I HATE slugs and snails though - really make me shiver..

I'm always concerned that the spider has maybe come in on a bunch of bananas though - you hear those stories of people getting bitten and dying hours later.

Issy I'm not too keen on slugs - thinks it's the slime

I can't stand them either 

Oh you just reminded me, I need some pellets for out the back

I'm soooooooooooooo sadistic - my husband can't bear to do it but I'll happily pour salt over slugs.

I posted and deleted, thinking..what kind of a person am I?..but..I've done it too..

Why is it so bad? My husband think's I'm a terrible person - I get some sport of perverse (shock and awe) pleasure out of doing it.

Make sure they are bird and animal friendly - the slugs eat the pellets, the birds and hedgehogs eat the slugs and can be poisoned.

I would too, but the snails come through the night (theres a trail in the morning) and I ain't getting up through the night!

It's really painful for them. It is an agonising death

Give them beer.

At least they'll go out on a high.

I actually do that velvet and then if the birds eat them it is like marinading them first for them
