Does this mean its nearly spring!!!!!! Can I change my snowy screen saver to a spring one and think about uncovering the garden furniture.

that girl has a mind like a gutter
It kinda feels like the winter is slowly pissing off and Spring is tryin to force its way in I went out a walk yesterday and it was a nice crisp day and it definitly perked me up! Can't wait to not have to wear my big coat and boats all the time.
Oh and I love rose bushes....the garden conected to mine at the back has rose bushes at their bottom fence so I usually have loads of pretty pink roses adorning my back fence and love seeing them bloom. My mum used to have a gorgeous rosebush that produced deep red roses but the little shits in the street kept hacking them off (and although I never admitted it I used to steal one or two for my then boyfriends....I was about 6) so she ended up getting rid of it and concreting the garden

Sorry, ella.
Sorry Gyps.
I'll be good.
I need to plant some bushes along my back wall as the plants that were put there last year seem to have been killed with the frost.

Ooooh, hopefully the flowers don't come up too early/quickly, otherwise if there's a frost in February, they may die.

I think this particular rose bush in my garden is invincible. Ive moved house twice and dug it up and taken it with me (it was smaller then) its been diseased so ive tried to cut it down and dig it out...it grew back undiseased its had birds nesting in it that caused it to keel over and snap.... Nothing can kill this triffid bush
I see the first signs of snowdrops.
Many people prune their roses in the spring around Easter time.
But some of the professional rose-growers prune their hard in December!

well hopefully that will be fortunate because i did cut it right back at the start of winter when i was tying it up to tidy it. Last year the snow brought it and half my fence down because it was so heavy so i didn't want the same thing to happen this year. With a bit of luck ive done it some good
