Life is differnt here the supermarkets are not so good, but the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Roads are just as busy, but no roundabouts just lots of traffic light junctions, they are mad, take a bit of getting used to.

Have to go to the liqour store for wine, dont sell it in the supermarkets

I am currently doing battle with the Canadian insurance system which is sooooooooo expensive. They do not want to know about the no claims that we have built up in the UK.The just want to charge loads of $$$$

Bet you are all excited about the launch next week. I am trying hard to see if there is a way I can get it over here.

My uncle and his family moved to Canada almost 30 years now, they love it there too.

Dont think there is a Canadian one think they only get USA, which I am lead to believe is a lot differnt to ours - no public vote off the housemates do it!! also no secrets about nom's they are able to talk openly about them!!

We've several friends who all emigrated to Vancouver years and years ago ( where are you?)

None of them have ever wanted to come back to the UK, they love it there. We visted Vancouver for several weeks some years ago and I didn't want to leave, hubby almost had to drag me to the airport lol. Hope you feel settled soon.

1. no round-abouts
2. underground parking
3. proffessional beggars
4. traffic can turn left/right on a red light if the way is clear
5. people say, "alrighty" a lot
6. never seen a blonde yet!!
