I agree strongly with your sentiments.  Some of my friends use facebook, but from what I've seen with all the drama and rubbish that goes on there, it seems a bit chavvy.

I signed up ,didnt last a day.I had so much hassle from people asking to be my friend ,I didnt know most of them .FB scared me and I deleted my account .Well I followed a link I was given so my account  was completely gone.

I think Fb is for young people once you get to a certain age you don't get it..I lubs it..*sachets out all young lookin*....

I have 2 accounts..1 for my family and 1 for my friends and never the twain shall meet....

I use it for family and games,watched some of the bb clips,but too many ads on them.

I've got no sound here, but i can identify with almost all those reasons zaph!

the most irritating thing is numpties who put things like 'xxxx has had the day from hell'  or 'xxx hopes that doesn't happen again'    or 'xxxx is sad' and never elaborate on why?    Tell me, or don't tell, but don't make stooooopid cryptic comments in a vain attempt to look interesting..

I think in the event of those type of comments you are meant to ask... or... maybe not

i love facebook,  my family is spread all around the country (and overseas depending upon son's posting) and it keeps everyone in the "know"  my youngest also uses it to keep in touch with friends from her last school. It depends upon who accesses your page and what you use it for on whether it is good or bad

that's what annoys me though... people DO ask... more than once, but by then the original posters moved on to posting how their guineau pig has tooth ache or something and they never explain.   

I thought I just had annoying friends, but I've canvassed opinion and it's not just me that's noticed that.

Oooh, i do like a drama llama, especially when the update their sentence with something like "I'm really pissed off" but don't give a reason why.  

Y'know they just want people to ask them "What's wrong?" so they get a bit of attention, but I'm always tempted to wind them up.
