well...I think it all went well!! it was dead busy, infact, manic is probably a better word for it! I should find out at about 6 tonight when the manager of the pub is in...though the head chef was pleased with me....

Done chopping

made soft cheese, mushroom, spinach and sun dried toms in filo pastry

erm, fish and chunky chips, steak sandwiches, fish finger sandwiches, home made burgers, fish cakes....I had a great morning!! and I am now really hopeful they take me on

There is NO way they are gonna phone on a sat night. Nobody would, its just not business like. The chef said i will call  you tonight, but he had to run it past the manager (who has called in the past). She wasnt starting work till 6pm.  This pub is really really nice, plush, mega popular gastro pub in a lovely village and they are always HEAVING. there is no way she would be thinking of calling you after 6 on a sat night.... trust me

No chance they'd get time! 

I agree with all that Gyps  - more to think about and it's an important call to be making when the place is buzzing.

Ahhhh thanks Roxan....I do see it for what it is, and how it is (I know from my few hours there today, it is DEAD BUSY) but like you say, frustrating to say the least when you are waiting to head!
