last Friday, I was returning home from my neices and the letter says I was doing 37 mph in a 30 zone....now I don't condone this, but it is the middle of nowhere down a country lane...straight road so no bends to be careful of and I accept I was slightly over but FGS have they nothing better to do, I have been driving 20 years and never had any points before this, I am a little put out if I'm honest

I feel for you. Husband got done for a similar speed, caught after they'd just changed the speed limit. I think he got sent for a lecture rather than having points, but still had to pay as well.

i havent ever had one yet *touch wood* but like most people i rarely do the speed limit. well i do in town etc but never on motorways or main road type places.
