I'm with 3 and no way could I imagine them doing that Zazz - I think you've had some good customer service there 

That's how I feel, I have been a good customer to orange over the years, so well impressed it has been recognised and appreciated!!

 

 

the urchin who stole it, well, dont get me started, though I am happy, the phone is now unusable,and locked,  and the sim is blocked too...so really not worth the twats time in stealing it in the first place!!!

Yeah, I am more than happy with the service they gave me tonight, apart from all the stuff on my old phone that I cant replace, photos and stuff, I think I have done ok out of it!! my phone wasnt that expensive in the first place!!

My friend left her phone on the bus - she's got Blackberry Protect on it. She tracked it on the web and saw it was still on the bus - it was following the bus route. When the bus turned into the road where she works, she ran out, hopped on the bus and picked the phone up.

 

It was all very dramatic

Zazz I'm really gutted and pleased for you, what a horrible duchebag to actually say that too you! I hope he drops it down the loo and can't get any money or use out of it! I hope tesco can help you out regarding CCTV footage too, technically it's theft by deception.. And if all else fails, I believe in karma, you may not hear of it but rest assured he'll get his comeuppance

I'd recommend Orange, their customer service is great and whenever I have to phone them I've always got a friendly response.

My new phone arrived today, in the biggest box known to man(for a phone) around 55 cm long I was thinking maybe they had sent me a huge joke phone like the phone on trigger happy TV anyway, in the box, was a tiny box which had my new phone in...another box which had an orange piggy bank and a keyring type thing, and another box which had some Angle and curve headphones(rrp around £60!!! ) the other half has been rolling her eyes at me pretending I am down with the kids with these headphones

 

what a result.....oh, and on top of that, the nice fella at orange topped up my phone by a tenner too!! and have transferred my old number over to my new sim!!

Good for you I have used Orange for years, never had a bother with them. Always found great customer care.

My old one is now blocked and black listed so the git who nicked it cant do a thing with it

What a twat that git is!  I am glad he can't use the phone.  Cheeky sod.  That is very rare for the phone company to do that Zazz... you're very lucky.

Proper twat, when I realised I had lost it, we phoned it, and the cheeky git answered, I told him then I was going to report it, so he had nothing to gain by keeping it....I was only bothered by my pictures and the odd number stored on it, worth nothing to him now...Grrrrr!! still, apart from the pictures, I am kind of back to where I started, but with a better phone, and some trendy headphones  I may call into the little Tesco tomorrow, just to see if he has been in since!!

I once dropped a Nokia phone down the toilet I was 2 weeks away from getting an upgrade anyway so I only had to put the sim in my old old Nokia for a short time, so I wasn't overly upset about the handset. I did however lose a set of photo's from my first rented house, I was really gutted I feel your pain
