(I will try to make this as unbiased as possible)

So, I've watched the videos, saw some of the LF, and read what people have been saying on here. So why is Sam getting the brunt of all the hatred?

Firstly, yes I am a big Sam fan, but I also quite like Corin, she has made me chortle a few times.

So it seems the Corin's 'tears' stemmed from discussion of the task. As part of the task housemates are not meant to do anything predictable. In Corin's case putting makeup on. John James, Dave and Sam were telling Corin that she shouldn't put any on in case they incur a fail. However Corin seems to have refused stating she can't live without her makeup and has gone ahead and slapped it on.

This annoyed the 3 guys, who admittedly should not have all had a go at her at once, but they did. However Corin seemed to only retort against Sam (ignoring Dave and John James) causing Sam to reply: "Oh Corin, your so orange, you're blinding me" (stifles laughter )

Corin carried on and on at Sam (again ignoring Dave and John James) saying something like "I don't care what you think you immature little pr*ck"

Sam responded saying something like: "Whatever, you tangerine faced freak".

In my eyes, they were given it as good as each other. I can't comment on Corins 'tears' as last night she wanted Andrew to tell them all she was 'crying' so she could get her stuff back.

So it seems to due to people not really liking Sam in the first place, it gave them more fodder to bring him down when really Corin was being just as bad.

After heavy analysing, discussions and studies, it really all comes down to Dave being a complete wanker.

I think you're fighting a losing battle Rawkey.  People are seeing the same thing through different eyes and are not going to change their opinions on what they see.

What little I have seen, I agree with you.  I don't know what the fuss is all about and why Sam seems to be bearing the brunt of all this vitriol.

Good post and I do agree!

Ok...serious now

I completely agree there was a lot of over-reaction, and Sam bore the brunt of it,, but.....

I didn't see the original argument but what annoyed me most about the whole thing yesterday was that they were all having a go at Corin for refusing to be "unpredictable" but not one of the boys were doing anything of their own to be unpredictable?

Did anyone else change things about themselves yesterday?  (aside from the diary room tasks? ) It looked like normal service to me.

Oh no, I agree with that. There is a lot of hypocrisy going on, John James with the crab suit etc. But that's how the 'argument' started yesterday, over Corin's make up.
Rawky-Roo
TBH Rawky Barbie Boy detests Corin and at every opportunity ,especially these past few days, has gone all out to make her time in there as miserable as possible, dig dig dig and chipping away at her ,his loathing of Corin goes back a long way since she dared not to be browbeaten by him...Sam for whatever reasons has became like a little lapdog at his heels, given the state he'd Sam in last week I am disappointed Sam is now on a crusade against another HM,a crusade encouraged by Barbie Boy and Mad Plonk Dave,a joke is a joke but this has all gone beyond a joke and sadly Sam had more to lose than the other pair.

1. Most of us already 'dislike' Dave and John James.
2. Sam had planned to target Corin and Josie, before entering the house.
3. Sam's targetting of Josie gave him a hero status, with a lot of peeps.
4. Sam started his targetting of Corin two days before this.
5. Corin knew that the aim was to make her lose her temper.
6. Corin asked Andrew to tell them she was crying, in order to resolve the situation early and without too much upset.
7. Sam didn't mind that she may be upset.
8. Sam knows that John James doesn't like Corin.
9. Sam's head is so far up John James' backside, he's practically half Australian now.
10. After two previous days of feeling picked on, Corin had had enough.

Well as sam was sitting wearing a suit in the argument vid maybe?
That was a diary room task though Croc. I mean did any of them stop doing or do something they wouldn't normally do without being asked to by BB? (does that sentence make sense? )

Dave still read his bible for example, and we could all think of one thing each HM does that they could have changed for the day, but no one was asked to but Corin. (from what I saw?? )

I think one of the reasons for the backlash is this was going on for a long time by someone who clearly cannot take a joke himself.  Sam did the same with Josie when he first came in but she dealt with it differently.

I agree SM, it went on far too long and it was bound to end in tears, and Dave, Sam, JJ1 and JJ2 are equally to blame. It beggars belief that people can't see that Josie was eventually going to side with the only other women left in the house while the rest of the knob heads either singled one person out or stood by and watched.

there's a lot of people who had a hand in loading Sam's bullets and each of them should take part of the blame  but it summed it all up for me this morning when  Sam was asked by Josie why he had picked on Corin solely for the last 3 days Sam's reply was cos she annoys me..  not because of anything she has done directly to him just that he finds her annoying...

Now if that ain't a nasty reason to pick at someone constantly I dunno what is..

AND I am happy that Josie called him a bully for doing what he did and singling out one person..

am also loving the fact Josie has now realised John is a part of this and encouraging Sam cos as she just said the viewers would like him.. she's seen the light she says..

John ain't happy about that.. tough titties. .but tis true...

I'm not surprised she dealt with it differently. It wasn't nearly as relentless, and he didn't get half the others in his gang, egging him on.

that's what I've been saying since yesterday Olly, yes Dave and the JJ's have egged him on, but it was all Sam's doing.
Sam must bare the responsibility, it's him that carried it on and it's him that's taken it to a personal level.

I hope Josie sticks to her guns and hope she has at last seen John James for what he is.

Exactly Blizzie.  But these facts will go unacknowledged by those who do not wish to see the truth.
