From some of the comments I've read they're already trying to bring Sunak down. He hasn't even been formally invited to form a government yet!!!!

Bliddy typical !
I do so hope that the trust that is being put in Sunak bears fruit, or at least quickly shows signs of things going in the right direction because if we end up with a general election any time soon, I think we will end up with labour in control and for now, Starmer comes across as being a bit weak. He COULD buck up if it ever came to it, but he doesn't fill me with confidence.
A weak leader generally leads to a weak everything else!

I have to say I tend to agree EFFT âĶand I was reasonably impressed by his speech at lunch time âĶbut the proof will be in the pudding , as they say .
Has he? Was he ever any use for anything?

Yes, some of them are resigning and vowing to support Rishi from the back benches.
It's not too surprising really, as most (if not all) of Truss' cabinet were appointed because they were her friends/had supported her in her bid to be PM and not really obviously qualified for the positions they were given.
I understand that Reese-Mogg had criticised Sunak at one point because he did not agree with Truss' tax cuts.

Hunt remains a chancellor. I'm not surprised, I always suspected that Hunt was getting help from Rishi!

Yes And Raabb is deputy pm
Sunak's first speech as PM is being criticised in some quarters because it didn't go into minute detail about what and how he was going to tackle EVERYTHING!
Who are these people? Are they stupid, or do they think we are stupid????
